Share the Love

Most couples know years ahead of their Wedding which first-dance song would be perfect for them, others approach us with various selections that they just cannot decide on. Sometimes the first dance song is used solely for the purpose of entertaining the guests, such as when the first dance number song is a compilation of other songs, this is usually a slow start and works it’s way up to a faster beat song where the couple executes a rehearsed dance routine. Whatever choice you make, just keep in mind that your Wedding is an expression of your love, whether you would like to show your guests how well you work together by synchronized dancing, or simply want to share 5 minutes alone dancing a song that has meant so much to you throughout time, there is no right or wrong way.

Another idea is to voice-over a message inside of the song. This is usually done in the middle of the song, where the bride and groom narrate a special message for their significant other. Your Wedding DJ should be able to mix this together for a small additional cost since it takes time to properly blend in. When a bride or groom decide that their first dance song will be a mix of many other songs, our DJs put together the songs and e-mail back a sample so they can rehearse the song months ahead.

Many times, a couple does not wish to have the spotlight for 4 minutes, this can easily be solved by inviting the bridal party to join in halfway through the song, or when a signal is given to the DJ by the bride and groom.
